Halifax, NS, Canada, May 15, 2015 – Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc., a subsidiary of Bluedrop Performance Learning Inc. (“Bluedrop”) (TSX-V: BPL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jean-Claude Siew as Vice President of Technology & Simulation.
In his role, Mr. Siew will lead a team of software and hardware engineers located in Bluedrop’s training and simulation centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mr. Siew is responsible for overseeing the development of the next generation simulation and training devices and the learning content management systems (LCMS) within Bluedrop. Additionally he will be responsible for the delivery of new crew based simulation and training devices as well as the ongoing support of the Bluedrop installations within Canada and around the world.
Mr. Siew brings an extensive background in the simulation and technology sector and held the positions of Vice President Systems Engineering, Simulation Products and Vice President Visual Systems Division with CAE, as well as experience with smaller companies. He has spent the last number of years leading a technology based security business and brings a unique combination of large company and smaller high growth company experience.
