JOHN’S, Newfoundland and Labrador — BPLI Holdings and its subsidiary Bluedrop Training & Simulation (“Bluedrop”) are pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Seaspan Shipyards (Seaspan). Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. and The Boeing Company (Boeing) announced a commitment to develop the next generation rear crew trainer for the CH-47 Chinook (Chinook) helicopter along with a five year commitment to support development and ongoing international sales.
Support for the initiative was announced under the Industry Canada Investment Framework program and the new Value Proposition guidelines.
The commitment included a contribution to Bluedrop of cash amounts totalling $2.29 million; transfer of certain Intellectual Property (IP) licences associated with the specific technical characteristics of the Chinook platform, engineering support from the Boeing training and simulation group during the development phase, and a five year commitment to support the ongoing sales and marketing of the new product within the Boeing global supply chain.

Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc. was selected as part of the Operational Training Systems Provider program to complete work for CAE on the development of courseware pertaining to Canada’s CC-130J Block 7.0 aircraft upgrades.
As part of this project, Bluedrop was selected to create approximately 30 runtime hours of new courseware and update approximately 270 runtime hours of courseware, to be used for training RCAF technicians. The courseware was delivered via instructor-led training. The new and revised curriculum Bluedrop created will allow RCAF technicians to continue to safely and knowledgeably maintain the CC-130J aircraft. Bluedrop and Atlantis were also selected to provide upfront training and training devices for the CH-147F aircrew.

Atlantis Systems Corp., a training integrator specializing in military and commercial aviation, and nuclear markets worldwide, announced that it signed subcontracts with Kelowna Flightcraft relating to the Department of National Defence’s Contracted Flying Training and Support program (the “CFTS Program”).
On November 18, 2005, the Company finalized the contracting process with Kelowna Flightcraft and the DND. Under the CFTS Agreements, Atlantis (now Bluedrop Training & Simulation Inc.) will develop, integrate and support a Ground-Based Training System, which will include a range of training devices from Desktop Simulators to Full-Flight Simulators, state-of-the-art interactive multimedia instruction, a comprehensive web-based training management system, and a suite of information services to manage project data and resources. When taking into account built-in provisions for maintenance and upgrades over the life of the contracts, the CFTS Agreements are expected to generate approximately $100 million in revenue for Atlantis over a 22-year period, with the majority of revenue to be recognized in the first 24 months of the CFTS Agreements.
